Purpose:
You will provide individual therapy to older adults by providing clinical services and education to clients regarding their mental illnesses, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety and those with dual diagnosis to obtain optimal functioning and quality of life.
Essential Functions:
- Guided by 27-65 requirements and best clinical practices, provides individual and psychotherapy and teaches psychoeducation
- Working with teens and adults providing individual therapy
- Documents provision of services, assessments, evaluations and treatment goals and plan consistent with clinical and administrative policies and procedures
- Participates in internal consultation and supervision with team members and other professionals in the organization
- Provides external consultation and referrals to other organizations
- Maintains contact with clients in distress, including assisting with hospitalization
- Participates in multidisciplinary focus groups, committees, and task forces charged with researching and improving clinical practices and developing or updating programs and business processes
- Provides clinical services required by special programs and projects
- Support, and demonstrate MHP’s mission, vision and values through both behavior and job performance and follows policies, procedures, Compliance Plan and Standards of Conduct daily.
- Communicate with other MHP staff/clients/customers/partners.
- Regular attendance is required to perform other essential functions of the job.
- Comply with HIPAA and other Federal or State Data Privacy laws related to the handling of organizational data.
- Meet defined personal and department goals and activity metrics.
- Other tasks as assigned.

What We Need:
- Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field plus 1 to 2-year internship
- Three (3+) years prior experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) or Licensed PhD or within twelve (12) months
- Must be credentialed on all insurances
- Training in CBT, DBT, CAC and Solution-Focused Therapy
- Experience or passionate about working with older adults
- Bilingual (Spanish)
