Job description

The Med D Product Advisor will be a member of the Medicare Plan Finder product team. This critical role utilizes technical aptitude and experience to support the business product, clients and compliance protocol. This position will be responsible for providing analysis on large amounts of data resulting in bi-weekly reporting that will be shared with internal and external audiences. Will be expected to take point in issue resolution, initiate and drive process improvements and will be highly engaged in IT projects, as well as oversee delivery of products/services to meet client and organizational needs.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PBM operations, proven results in breaking down complex problems to find data-driven solutions, ease in working cross-functionally and with IT personnel, have strong communication skills and be able to present & facilitate discussion that engages both IT and business mindsets. In addition, this candidate will be self-starting, curious and driven to gain in-depth Med D and product knowledge, needs to have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent professionalism and work well under the pressure of deadlines.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Develop and utilize technical skills to create files/reports and perform data analysis required to solve issues or contribute to project needs
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure accuracy of product and processes.
• Provide analysis and input on initiatives to implement process improvements to meet team/organization goals.
• Review CMS guidance to provide input that ensures the product stays in compliance and meets product goals & metrics
• Assist with gathering data, documenting requirements and quality review of product / process improvement projects
• Track and maintain compliance-driven data to meet required deadlines and collect metrics to ensure product oversight and reporting requirements are met.
• Maintain up-to-date resource documentation for processes owned/managed
• Research and aid in timely responses to assigned internal and external inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in data collection, requirement documentation, data analysis and quality assurance for project support, issue management and process improvement
• Experience extracting and utilizing data to identify key trends through the use of data analytics that help drive business decisions
• Driven, self-starter who can manage time effectively and efficiently & displays strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to learn and manage complex processes
• Possesses strong decision-making skills and problem-solving techniques
• Demonstrated commitment and ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities under high pressure
• Professional with the ability to work both solo and within a group to collaborate on ideas and share project responsibilities to achieve goals
• Excellent communication skills with various partners & audiences, including presentations and documentation
• Intellectual curiosity
• Experience / Knowledge of Medicare and PBM/Healthcare industry
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products with an emphasis on Access and advanced level of Excel
• Proven knowledge and experience in SQL, Teradata, Tableau and JIRA

This is a hybrid role and will require the ability to work in person.
