Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS), is actively seeking candidates to support personnel as part of our staff augmentation team supporting the Department of Energy in Golden, CO.

Job duration is projected to be a 12-month period of performance approved for remote work location.

Job Summary / Scope:
AIS is seeking skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator. As a systems administrator working with our customer’s DevOps team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, performance, and uptime databases and applications. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning, security, and efficiency of enterprise applications and systems, while collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and providing effective solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise of both on premise and cloud technologies, problem- solving skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team.

Essential Duties - Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Systems Administration: Manage, monitor, and maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Data Management: Ensure data quality and security and manage data import/export processes. Develop and maintain documentation related to database/application structure, workflows, and procedures.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide effective solutions. Coordinate systems upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance improvement to enhance system performance and user experience.
