About Our Internship Program
As a ThredUp summer intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. During the 10 week program from 6/10/2024 - 8/15/2024, you will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUP’s business. Our paid internships are ideal for ambitious students or recent grads who thrive in ambiguity, like a good challenge, and want a jump start on their career development. Oh, and who want to help inspire a new generation of consumers to think secondhand first! This is an hourly role and pays $45 per hour based on currently enrolled academic program or completed level of education. About The Internship The Revenue Team at thredUP is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth. The team works cross-functionally to maximize revenue through customer-centric, data-driven strategies in pricing, promotions, and efficient marketing investments. Our goal is to acquire and retain customers with our unique value proposition, a best in class loyalty program, and expansion of additive revenue streams to support thredUP’s overall mission and strategy. The Summer Associate, Revenue Strategy, will support the Senior Director of Revenue Growth along with other members of the Revenue Team and will have the opportunity to work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer, SVP of Growth & Retention Marketing & VP of Revenue Strategy. This internship will play a foundational role in building and accelerating revenue growth at thredUP. We’re looking for an all-purpose player to manage mission-critical, cross-functional efforts led by the Revenue Team. You will support our growing gift card business, perform benchmarking analyses and research, evaluate new revenue growth opportunities, and track and analyze impact of revenue initiatives. You will also help lead a quarterly team onsite planning session, and create slides and written documents to summarize team outputs and strategic direction to the executive team and the thredUP board of directors. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone that is currently enrolled in a 2-year MBA program. This internship will be based in our Headquarters in Oakland, CA.
