Job description
This is a two (2) year 100% Contract position. This appointment may be extended or converted to career status based on the needs and funding of the department.
Serving as the Financial Services Analyst within Student Financial Solutions(SFS) -----a multi-divisional unit of Business and Financial Services (BFS). SFS serves as the central point of contact for student inquiries related to billing, payments, refunds, scholarships, campus ID card, loans, student accounts, and general information related to division process partners such as Financial Aid, Housing, and Registrar. This position will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Associate Director in the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of Student Accounts and Billing Services. This unit manages the centralized billing and collection services, scholarship payments, third party accounts, electronic payments, and financial aid and overpayment refunds for students, campus departments, and other clients.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced financial service professional with a full understanding of industry practices and organizational policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
