Essential Job Functions:1. Instructing players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
2. Organizing and directing individual and small group practice activities/exercises as directed by the head coach.
3. Assess player’s skills, monitors players during competition and practice, and keep the head coach informed of the athletic performance of students.
4. Pre- and Post-season inventory: Care and maintenance of all equipment/apparel and baseball facilities.
5. Following guidelines established by the Department, University, and NCAA. This includes policies and procedures for Academics, Compliance, and Camps.
6. Supporting all Department of Athletics policies on classroom attendance, study hall, progress reports, and enforcing disciplinary actions.
7. Assist in updating Team rosters for Compliance and Academics.
8. Assist in recruiting.
Monitor student-athletes' academic progression.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:• Understand and comply with NCAA Division II, conference and University rules and regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Baseball.
• Ability to lead, guide, and direct graduate assistants, interns, and student-athletes.

5. Ability to work nights, weekends, potential holidays.
6. Attend practices in potentially inclement weather.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Major (if required):Required Experience:
1 year of assisting high school or collegiate baseball.
