Job description
Expeditor Responsibilities:
Generate, review, and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Work closely with internal departments to verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth communication and efficient procurement processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, communications, and related documentation
Prepare and distribute regular reports on purchase order status and performance metrics
Take proactive measures to prevent and mitigate potential issues in the procurement process
Expeditor Qualifications:
2-3+ years of experience in procurement or purchase order management
Proficiency in using an ERP software tool
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
