Job description

Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's Information Technology Division is hiring a Data Center Support Engineer . Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of data center infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with data center staff to ensure compliance with standards, meeting requirements, and maintaining energy efficiency and safety. The position requires problem-solving skills, providing technical guidance to team members, and may involve managing systems in other IT spaces.

Responsibilities Include:

Data Center Systems Support and Management (60%):

Data Center Maintenance and Operation (30%):

Support Power, Cooling, and Physical Security for IT Spaces (10%):

Salary:

The Data Center Support Engineer position offers an annual salary ranging from $95,172 to $116,340, which fits within the overall salary range of $84,600 to $142,764. The final salary offered will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and alignment with the internal peer group.
