P rimary duty functions include:
- Assist with the development of strategic road-maps, strategic plans, vision and mission statements, strategic goals, strategic initiatives, and provide governance for implementation
- Recommend, develop, collect, and document policies and procedures to support on-going operations
- Work with senior leadership to articulate and communicate vision, goals, and objectives into actionable plans with milestones, objectives, and measures of effectiveness to varied audiences through varied media
- Consolidate strategies, plans, EXORDS, policies, guidance, etc. to support clear understanding of requirements and expectations while ensuring customer compliance with multiple, disparate, expectations.
- As the position requires flexibility, other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple taskings in various stages with minimal direction and be able to successfully achieve desired outcomes
- Expert-level knowledge in planning, directing, and managing projects/operations in an organization similar in size to this acquisition
- Expert-level knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to strategic planning and portfolio management
- Ten or more years strategic planning experience
- Ten or more years professional experience in Army, DoD, or IC in a related field
- Ten or more years IT experience in the DoD or IC
- Understanding of DoD resourcing and budget cycles and concepts
- Shall possess at the time of award, and retain, an active SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, terminology, application migration and modernization, DevSecOps, and DoD POM/PPBE and Acquisition processes
- Broad spectrum knowledge with critical thinking skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Agile certification (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
