Responsibilities

The Information Security Office has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst within their IAM Application Security team.  The Application Security (AppSec) team is responsible for providing authentication and authorization to a large suite of Enterprise Mobility internal and external applications.  This role will heavily contribute to the delivery of Enterprise Mobility's IAM program to ensure employees have a secure environment for productivity and protection to Enterprise Mobility's most critical and sensitive data and systems. Your focus will include daily baseline operations and leading strategic IAM initiatives as they relate to AppSec. 

A successful candidate will have strong problem solving, analysis, and documentation skills.  You will play a critical role in the application development lifecycle and will be responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, testing, and maintaining business and functional requirements across various applications and application teams.  In this position, you will collaborate with many teams to evaluate business requests and determine feasibility, as well as options that best serve client needs.  You will present information and track and respond to questions related to security and audit policies.  You will collaborate with subject matter experts from across the Enterprise Mobility organization to facilitate analysis of our security solutions.  In addition, you will conduct functional and regression testing for code releases.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• 3+ years of experience with developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting functional business requirements and specifications, and use cases.
• 3+ years of business analysis experience in an application development setting with exposure to various methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience leading large-scale projects
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and identify potential problems that may arise with applications; ability to effectively communicate how problems will affect applications and users.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare client facing communications and trainings, and deliver presentations to own team, department, other IT teams.
• Ability to collaborate across project teams and use analysis, knowledge, and company objectives to resolve moderately complex issues creatively and effectively
• Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy
• Ability to create test cases for functional and regression testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
• Ability to conduct structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members
• Ability to think critically, and assist with task automation and process improvements
• Ability to judge between what is requested and what is feasible given the parameters of the technology and the project timeline
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to research and write reports; review report results for accuracy, and run basic SQL queries
• Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of SOAPUI and Postman.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, and performing basic SQL queries
• Knowledge of project and change management tools such as Jira and Confluence and Zephyr
