Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a engineer support specialist for Space & Intelligence Systems (SIS), youll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for building networks and creating security solutions for challenging customer problems.
The ideal candidate would come with these preferred skills:
- Expert in data network planning, design, and implementation, including formal testing and documentation
- Experience configuring, installing, operating, and maintaining system infrastructure to include Cisco routers and switches, workstations, and peripheral IP devices
- Demonstrated leadership overseeing project tasks, including system tech refreshes, software and hardware lab/field installations
- On-site repair, installation, and servicing of specific hardware or software products
- Server System Administrator is responsible for leading the day-to-day support of Server services, Operating Systems, and physical & virtualized servers
- Development of program required security documentation, including items such as security plans, contingency plans, and security tests plans and procedures in compliance with the IA policy to include Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation and activities
- Executes security testing and evaluation to ensure the correct implementation of security requirements
- Executes security scanning and the analysis of the scan results
- Supports the Assessment and mitigation of system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle

Combined Salary Range USD $106,477.00 - USD $115,211.50 /Yr.
