Responsibilities:
Administrative duties include:
- Maintenance of our talent database in SPARK
- Coordinating talent gifts including research, selection, purchasing, and fulfillment
- Upkeep of vendor directory, status reports and other internal documents
- Manage talent relations budget, processes all p-card charges and reconciliation of invoices.
- Sends out weekly distros to Hulu executives such as birthdays, launch day, and upcoming events.
Talent-facing duties include:
- Support talent logistics for marketing, brand, & special campaign shoots and other requests such as Hulu and Corporate Disney events such as Upfront, TCAs & D23 where duties include constant communications directly with talent teams and managing talent on-site.
- Assistance with routing talent approvals for asset clearance for our VIP talent such as Kardashians, Selena Gomez, etc.
- Managing talent experiences such as dinners, Disney Parks trips, sporting events, and concerts.
Event-facing duties include:
- Creating guest lists for premieres & special events, which includes managing filler agency and brainstorming talent to invite.
- E-vite distribution and managing the RSVP list.
- Ticketing and seating for premieres
- On-site support and management of GA and VIP check-in
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience in publicity or talent relations capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills
- Must be professional, adaptable, and reliable
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends as needed to assist with events
- Familiarity with the entertainment landscape; including buzz-worthy titles, up and coming talent, trends, etc.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $52,400 to $70,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
