The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Quality Inspector is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining coordinate measuring machine programs and processing incoming inspection of purchased material in accordance with company drawings and performing outgoing inspections.
Duties and Responsibilities

Top priority is to ensure safe completion of all tasks and keeping all related training up to date.

Inspection of components with coordinate measuring machines, conventional inspection methods and metrology equipment.

Performs FAI (First Article Inspection) on initial production of new parts per the applicable customer.

Conduct final Inspection of membranes and cartridges for internal and customer requirements.

Communicate results in a timely fashion to support the manufacturing process.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of data.

Complete inspection documentation or reporting

Sort, rework, and quarantine of non-conforming material.

Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical information

Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and ensuring that spent materials are disposed of in appropriate receptacles on-site.__________________Are you a MATCH?

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required

2+ years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in chemical industry

Mechanical aptitude, adept in the assembly of tube/pipe fitting type samples.

Good computer skills required (scientific instrument software, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be able to succeed in a team environment with good communication skills including presentations to customers

Demonstrates strong process and operational safety behavior at all times.

Strong command of English language, written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications

1+ years with appropriate instrumentation and data interpretation in a production laboratory environment

Initiative and self-motivation

Good organization skills

Ability to work under time pressure on multiple requests
Working Conditions

This position is presently a second shift assignment

Must be able to work an offshift & weekends with possible callins and overtime

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate range for this position in "State" is $25.00 to $27.00
