Vetcor has an exciting opportunity for an experienced multi-site Regional Manager to partner with and support our thriving and expanding hospital group in greater Houston, TX.
This role will directly support the local-level animal hospital leaders with the general day-to-day operations of their hospitals along with their short-term goals and long-term strategies. Our passionate and energetic hospital teams are looking forward to welcoming someone equally enthusiastic about veterinary medicine and pet care to the region.
This position is based in the greater Houston, TX area to adequately support our current partner hospitals and upcoming new partners in that region. The Regional Manager role will report to a Director of Regional Operations.
The Regional Manager is responsible for ongoing, tailored support to practice leaders in managing:
- Daily operations, leadership, and administration at the local level
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and employee retention of DVMs, support staff, and practice leaders
- Client service, loyalty, and satisfaction
- Practice growth and financial health and stability
- Community-based marketing and online reputations
- Employee morale, engagement, and retention
- Partnership with the support team on matters of HR, legal, accounting/finance, acquisitions, payroll, recruiting, etc.
- Ability to initiate and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly initiatives
- Weekly planned travel within the region (sometimes requiring overnight stays) and occasional trips to other regions or the corporate office, as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Multi-site management experience in the veterinary, healthcare, and dental fields (preferred).
- Must be self-motivated, agile, organized, flexible, adaptable, and able to influence, motivate, and inspire uniquely individual leaders and practices
- A passion and ability for building long-lasting bonds of trust that support VetCor's continued success, and long-term vision and mission
- Must be located in the greater Houston, TX area
