CommQuest seeks Part-time Group Therapy Facilitator for weekend dayshift (Friday-Sunday) to work at Wilson Hall and Deliverance House, our residential facilities located in Canton and Massillon, Ohio. The Group Therapy Facilitator will support individuals in their journey to overcome chemical dependency and substance abuse issues. You will work closely with other counselors and the Clinical Site Coordinator to facilitate group therapy sessions and provide essential assistance to clients seeking recovery, as needed by all residential facilities. What you'll do:

• Orient new clients to the agency's treatment philosophy, hours of operation, service array, client rights/responsibilities, grievance procedure, confidentiality regulations, rules and regulations .
• Collaborate with Counselors in planning and facilitating group therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental and behavioral health related disabilities.
• Provide group counseling , demonstrating competency in group facilitation, as evidenced by supervisory observations.
• Perform clinical record keeping which accurately documents the findings, treatment, and clinical outcomes on a timely basis for each client served, demonstrating competency by chart reviews, quality assurance reviews, and supervisory reviews.
• All other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Wilson Hall/Deliverance House: Dayshift hours - Part time - Friday-Sunday

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree (or greater) in Human Services, Chemical Dependency, or another related field, highly preferred.
• Minimum of a current, active CDCA certification through the Ohio CDP Board is required. Licensed as an LICDC, LCDC III, or LCDC II through the Ohio CDP Board OR licensed as an LSW or CT through the Ohio CSWMFT Board is highly preferred.
• Previous experience of 1+ year working with adults with Substance Use Disorder and/or mild to moderate mental illness is required.
• Must have the ability to establish working relationships with diverse individuals in a variety of settings and situations.
• Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other providers in the agency and community.
