Position Summary/Description:

- Teach students from diverse life experiences and learning styles in three classes per semester. Preferred courses would most likely be in the following areas: facility and event management, sport marketing, introduction to sport administration, and field experience in sport administration (internships). Candidates may also be asked to develop an elective course.
- Assist with departmental efforts inclusive of, but not limited to, developing undergraduate sport administration volunteer and experiential opportunities, student club events, newsletters, and social media communication.
- Career advising for culturally and intellectually diverse sport administration majors with an emphasis on connecting students with industry professionals.
- Help foster the climate of inclusion and equity outlined by the mission of the Department and University. 
- Participate in departmental and university service and governance functions.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the Chair of the Department.

Education and Experience:

- An earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, JD) in Sport Administration or related field is preferred.
- Experience and/or extensive relationships within the sport industry are preferred.
- Demonstrated record of, or potential commitment to, student professional development and learning success.
