WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As the Learning and Development Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey for our inside and outside sales, and customer service teams. You will build curriculums, develop eLearning, and be responsible for ensuring a seamless user experience for our teams when interacting with commercial content in the Learning Centre (LMS). This role will report to the Training and Enablement Manager.
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials for HVAC training programs, incorporating adult learning principles and industry best practices.
- Create interactive eLearning modules, simulations, and multimedia content to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and up-to-date content that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the entire eLearning development process, from needs analysis to evaluation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including content upload, user management and system troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular assessments of training programs to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements accordingly.
- Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and eLearning.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve issues related to the LMS and eLearning modules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and develop strategies for ongoing employee development.
- Maintain documentation for instructional design and eLearning development processes, and LMS procedures.
Additional responsibilities:
- Collaborate with T&E Manager and training peers to develop training strategy for Lennox Sales Resources including sellers, lead gen reps, and overlays.
- Establish methodology and cadence to reassess all sales and enablement training initiatives, incorporating team and customer feedback to alter approach as needed.
- Establish course content and student learning objectives for Lennox Commercial Sales team and Lennox Commercial customers.
- Ability to travel for training conducted throughout the US and Canada.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years training experience
- Proven experience in instructional design and eLearning development, preferably in the HVAC or related technical industry.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiar with HVAC industry terminology, regulations, and best practices a plus.
- Solid understanding of Learning Management Systems and experience with LMS administration (preferably CSOD)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality training content.
- Continuous learner with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and technologies.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to eLearning and LMS.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $62k - $80k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
