Position: Agency Branding Consultant
Clearance: Must have Active DOD SECRET Clearance
Core Work Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Remote; DC, MD, VA Area; Minimum Travel
BCMC is a leading digital transformation company dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions for the
defense and technology sectors. We are seeking a talented and innovative Brand Marketing Specialist to
join our team in support of a critical Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) program. As a Brand
Marketing Specialist with BCMC, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a
comprehensive branding plan tailored to multiple DISA audiences to enhance communication of the
agency's role and value proposition within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of Three (3) Staff Members in Branding, Communications, Marketing and Change
Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of DISA's roles,
missions, and value proposition.
Collaborate with DISA leadership and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the agency's
identity, roles, missions, and value proposition.
Develop a tailored and comprehensive branding plan that effectively communicates DISA's
identity to internal agency employees, external stakeholders, and potential employees.
Craft strategic messaging that resonates with specific target audiences, aligning with DISA's
mission and objectives.
Identify and recommend the most suitable communication platforms (e.g., social media, websites,
presentations) to reach and engage target audiences effectively.
Determine the optimal frequency and timing of messaging to maintain a consistent brand
presence and engagement level.
Create visually compelling and impactful materials such as presentations, graphics, and visual
aids that reinforce DISA's branding across various mediums.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of DISA's industry landscape, competitive positioning,
and target audience preferences to inform branding strategies.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and communication experts to ensure consistent and
effective brand representation across all materials and platforms.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of branding initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as
needed to optimize outcomes.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and
marketing to continuously enhance DISA's communication strategies.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a
related field, or Eleven (11) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree
8+ years in brand marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably within government,
defense, or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of brand development, messaging, and positioning strategies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive branding plans for diverse
audiences.
Proficiency in utilizing various communication channels and platforms to convey brand
messaging effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages
and create engaging content.
Experience in collaborating with design teams to create visually appealing and impactful
materials.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to refine branding strategies.
Self-motivated, innovative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
