Job description
PREPARATION
· Possesses the physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture and boxes
· Qualified to legally drive a commercial van or box truck, operate dock, and other warehouse equipment
· Prepares for tasks by reviewing project details and drawings, confirming necessary materials and tools are on hand, ensuring truck contains safety equipment and cargo is secured for transport
· Maintains a neat, clean, and safe work environment by containing all trash and debris and ensuring all tools are functioning properly
· Crafts the arrangement of activities to ensure the installation is completed effectively, efficiently, and skillfully
INSTALLATION
· Able to interpret and install furniture according to installation drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
· Adept with careful execution of building systems furniture, including basic electrical component installation
· Utilizes manufacturer resources to learn about and aid in project installation
· Possesses desire to engage with clients and/or team to resolve and complete project expectations prior to departure from job site
· Thoroughly inspects job site upon installation completion ensuring all tools and equipment have been retrieved and workspace and furniture are clean
· Clearly communicates outstanding scope of work to team and provides detailed documentation with descriptions of components necessary for project completion
CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Respectful of clients’ privacy while working within their space and by keeping noise to a minimum
· Consciously listens and analyzes what clients are communicating and provides reassurance their desired outcomes will be fulfilled
· Takes initiative, provides prompt action, clarifies questions, and shares helpful information satisfying needs and creatively solve problems
· Delivers exceptional customer service with warm and professional communication that demonstrates willingness to exceed expectations
