DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Head of Finance with ownership of FP&A planning cycle including annual operating plan and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Manage the TAT Piedmont profitability analysis and reporting function and recommend areas of improvement for each line of business and product line.
- Utilize data analytical skills to query and analyze large amounts of complex data to identify areas of opportunity to improve company profit.
- Partner with Controller and Accounting Team to understand actual results to plan and supply actionable root cause variance analysis.
- Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Prepare reports and presentations for meetings with Leadership Team and other interested parties.
- Develop business specific KPI’s, metrics, and dashboards to clearly explain business results including monthly bookings, sales and profit.
- Partner with various departments at all levels of the organization to provide insightful data driven recommendations on a wide variety of initiatives such as business development, new product introductions (NPI) and company profitability improvements.
- Support change management initiatives related to cost-reduction projects, process changes, and other transformations that impact revenue or operating expenses.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Assist with special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA or CMA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Aviation is preferred.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Must have ability to perceive inter-relationships of business activities and systems.
- Must be able to interface with all levels of management.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills.
