Job Title: Associate Attorney - Bankruptcy
Location: Newport Beach, CA - Remote option available, MUST BE BARRED IN CA Current*
Salary: $175k-$230k dependent on experience

Our practice is exclusively devoted to complex bankruptcy, insolvency, business reorganization, related commercial litigation, liquidations, acquisitions, out-of-court workouts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, receiverships, and other bankruptcy alternatives. Our firms practice includes pre-bankruptcy and post-bankruptcy planning and strategies. We are looking for a qualified attorney to add to our small tight knit family that wants to learn and grow for the long term!

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities:
-The candidate will represent bankruptcy plan fiduciaries in the post-confirmation administration of bankruptcy estates, including complying with the debtors' continuing bankruptcy obligations, liquidating estate assets, litigating the estate's remaining causes of action, and making distributions to estate creditors
-Will represent corporate and individual debtors and secured and unsecured creditors in a broad range of complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7
-Represent corporate clients in the prosecution and defense of litigation in California state court, including fraudulent transfer, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty actions
-Partner with clients to develop and implement successful legal strategies

What You Need for this Position

-3-5 years+ experience in Bankruptcy litigation experience, specifically Chapter 11
-Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
-Barred in California
-Self-motivated individual with high energy willing to do whatever it takes to complete responsibilities on deadline
-Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
