Senior Data Analyst
Positing Contingent Upon Award and Government acceptance of candidate
Expected start date March 1, 2024
Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions, LLC (WCTS) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support work with the Veteran’s Crisis Line (VCL).
In 2022, Dial 988 (The National Suicide Hotline Improvement Act) was created as a mental health crisis line. The Veteran’s Crisis Line (VCL) is a “press option 1” for veterans to access the service. The Sr. Data Analyst will assess the call center’s effectiveness compared to original estimates regarding volume, workload, and staffing resources. He/She will also aid in developing the 5 year strategic plan.
Work Location: Hybrid out of our Fredericksburg, VA HQ. Telework upon approval.
Work Hours: 8.5 hours per day (30 min unpaid lunch), 5 days a week excluding Holidays. Must be during normal VA business hours 6 am- 6pm.
Travel: Possible travel up to 25%
Start Date: March 1, 2024
This is Four Year Contract Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 plus benefits
Essential Duties
- Obtaining data through advanced computerized models
- Extrapolating data patterns through advanced algorithms
- Developing graphs and charts to explain data representation
- Data visualization methods to present strategic moves to management
- Predictive data modeling with diagnostic analysis
Qualifications
- US Citizen
- BA/BS Degree
- 8 years’ experience
- Excel/SQL/Tableau – database query knowledge, as well
- Working knowledge of data visualization
- Ability to communicate different levels of analytics to management
- Functional knowledge of graph and chart distinctions
- Linear regression and statistical analysis knowledge
- Background in analytics of large and complex data sets
- Thorough knowledge of data collection and analysis errors/mitigation strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Past crisis center experience
- Working knowledge of veteran’s issues
- Background in systems analysis
- Social work and policy background as well as data science are encouraged
- Preferred experience in data analytics on a business level
- Knowledge of various statistical programs (R, Stata, SPSS)
