Job description

Are you a savvy federal technology marketer who understands the critical missions of our government and the community of B2G technology vendors and systems integrators who support them? Do you have the experience to plan, execute, and manage impactful, measurable marketing campaigns that reach federal decision-makers and B2G tech buyers? Do you want to join an agency where diversity, work ethic, and community outreach are embraced and celebrated as core tenets of company culture?

If you answered yes to these questions, you could be the next Marketing Director Merritt Group is looking for!

OVERVIEW

The Marketing Director at Merritt Group is a strong supervisor and leader in the company, is responsible for overseeing our strategic government technology vendor and contractor accounts, and can provide deep domain expertise on accounts and to internal members based on strategic needs. For this particular role, we're seeking a Director with experience in Federal IT marketing to lead strategic marketing programs and campaigns for our B2G technology clients who seek to reach agency buyers and grow their business. The Marketing Director will drive integrated marketing communications and capture programs that span government-specific messaging, strategy, demand generation, marketing/sales collateral creation, brand/campaign development, content marketing, and web and digital initiatives.

The Marketing Director will manage key client marketing initiatives, interfacing with our clients as well as Merritt Group's Practice Groups, other Marketing Services team members, and the government community of associations and influencers to implement programs and campaigns. They will also coordinate with outside vendors - developers, video production teams, data partners, and more. They are an agency resource, are involved in operations for the company, are involved in the agency's new business efforts, and are expected to make suggestions where appropriate to ensure agency processes run smoothly and efficiently.

And, like all Merritt Groupers, they have an insatiable curiosity and interest in technology and business, marketing, digital, content, advertising/paid, Web, social media, and more.
