WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
As a Career Advisor with our human services nonprofit, your day is a dynamic mix of responsibilities. You start by overseeing the TABE test, ensuring fairness and accuracy for 10 to 30 participants, both in-office and remotely. Then, you meticulously record their scores in our database. You become a mentor, delivering job search workshops and helping participants refine their resumes. You also provide guidance during computer-driven job searches and handle attendance, interviews, and placements tracking.
Beyond that, you distribute metro cards and offer referrals for essential services like clothing, childcare, and food assistance, going the extra mile to support participants' needs. Your role is diverse and impactful, with additional tasks assigned as needed. Every day is a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
