Job description
Adecco is currently hiring for a 1st shift Site Supervisor role located in Beloit, WI. This is a direct hire role! Pay is based on experience from $85-$130K. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for optimizing warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring seamless coordination between various departments to meet operational goals.
Job duties include but not limited to:
· Lead and develop a team of 100+ employees, fostering an inclusive and engaged work environment.
· Coach, train, and guide supervisors and employees for career progression.
· Oversee the day-to-day aspects of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics.
· Implement the LEAN manufacturing principles which help increase production, reduce costs, improve quality, and increase profits by following five key principles.
· Daily GEMBA Walks - observe employees, ask about their tasks, and identify productivity gain.
· Manage process improvement within each department when needed using a Kaizen process approach.
· Help manage and educate employees on the 5S principles of a warehouse.
· Establish and maintain a strong safety culture within the facility.
· Enforce safety management plans, training, and processes.
· Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
· Work closely with cross-functional departments, including HR, to hire, retain, coach, and develop employees.
· Manage Profit and Loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization. Make necessary adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
Qualification include:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required.
· 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, warehouse, or related field required.
· 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
· 2+ years of Profit and Loss management experience preferred.
· Proficiency in applying Lean principles, systems, and tools required.
· Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets preferred.
· Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings if needed.
· Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required. SAP system experience preferred.
