Job description

In this role, the Estimator will be responsible for reviewing contract documents (design drawings, specs, proposal, etc.) to prepare pricing estimates while developing and maintaining communication with engineers, contractors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read and understand contract drawings.
• Perform material take-offs.
• Produce cost estimates for Senior Estimator review.
• Coordinate with project management.
• Scheduling / Delivery Coordination.
• Communicate with the Customers.
• Assist with review of Invitations to bid.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to return a profit on operations.
• Proven success as an estimator.
• Some Engineering/Construction knowledge.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to read contract documents to set priorities, to meet bid deadlines.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
