As a Design Coordinator you will provide technical and application support for the Advanced Facilities team. This position will provide you with an opportunity to participate in the design of state of the art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities. Each day you will apply skills in engineering, communications, and problem solving in a fast-paced, professional, design and construction environment.
You will collaboratively work with lead engineers, tool owners, and project managers to identify and understand and manage the scope of work of tool install vendor packages.
The Design Coordinator will be responsible for interfacing with the client representatives field representatives, project manager, and design team to produce tool install design packages for a Semiconductor client.
Coordinate with the structural, electrical, mechanical, and architectural disciplines to produce a fully coordinated vendor package for installing semiconductor manufacturing tools.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in progressive related construction industry experience or similar in a technical field.
· Support the Functional Area Leader and Team by performing internal design coordination and administrative functions.
· Support Design Change Notices (DCNs) to the internal Jacobs team for client publication.
· Support Schedule Change Notification (SCNs) to the internal Jacobs team for client purposes
· Coordinate internal team scheduling, completion of tasks, and daily huddle updates
· Apply process improvement and lean principles to overall pre-design tasks
The Idea candidate will possess:
· Semiconductor industry or tool install experience (preferred)
· Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
· Four (4) years of college is preferred.
