Job description

Position: Grounds Maintenance/Porter

In addition to hourly pay, Grounds Maintenance is eligible for monthly commissions!

Requirements:

• Knowledge of common hand tools ( screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc.).
• Must work inside and outside in all types of weather.
• Medium to heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
• Familiar with landscaping and use of landscaping, such as lawnmower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, etc.
• Other power tools including, but not limited to, power floor cleaner, carpet shampoo machine, power drain cleaner, chain saw and key machine.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• May be required to be certified to use pool chemicals depending on the location.

Duties:

• Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position that performs light maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Assists with repairs and improvements of vacant apartments for a market-ready status.
• Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the Company.
• The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required.

Qualifications:

• Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure quality maintenance standards set by the Company are met and exceeded.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
