Warehouse Associate
Salary: up to $18.00/hour
Multiple shifts available including:
- Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Mon-Fri, 1 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of material handlers is to move material, with or without MVEs to the appropriate place based on assigned functional area.
- Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products are appropriately staged and/or loaded, picked, or put away in a neat, secure, and orderly manner.
- Attend all meetings as directed. Daily shift meetings, as well as others, as directed.
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe manner.
- Follow all OSHA and company guidelines for safely performing tasks.
- Must notify management of any discrepancies.
- Wear company-issued shirts, so they are visible.
- Must follow all directions given by Management (including supervisors and leads).
- Complete any paperwork accurately and timely.
- Complete other duties as assigned
- If operating an MVE, must maintain forklift certification.
Picker (small parts):
- Scan pick slips
- Pick items on to wire shelf carts
- Pick product directed by the scanners
- Verify stock code on item vs the scanner
- Verify QTY ordered, Enter QTY
- Confirm pick on scanner
- Place shipping label on carton next to the stock code label, Verify stock code
- Place wire cart in staging area
Checker:
- Scan pick slip number on shipping label
- Verify stock code on product vs. stock code on the shipping label
- Verify QTY on the sales order
- Confirm the check on the scanner
- Place large dot on the shipping label to confirm check for stagers
Miscellaneous tasks:
- Clean staging area every morning
- Dispose of trash near compactors
- Assist cleaning pallet rack aisles
- Assist in distributing pick slips to proper zones
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions in English.
- Consistently exercise good judgment in daily situations.
- Ability to operate RF scanner, after training.
- Strong knowledge and adherence to all safety standards.
- Ability to demonstrate common sense in resolving simple and complex issues.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Must be able and available to work during hours for designated shift: 8:55 a.m. to 6 p.m. (or last ticket pulled) or 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. (or last order staged) Hours are subject to change based on business need.

Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs. occasionally, and 40 lbs. frequently.
Frequent Pushing/Pulling 20-49 lbs. / Bending 20-49 lbs.
LIFT – 40 lbs. vertically from 66 inches to 0 inches from floor (3 repetitions).
LIFT – 40 lbs. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor (3 repetitions).
LIFT/CARRY – Lift 40 lbs. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor while transferring it to a location 90 degrees to the left or right (3 repetitions).
LIFT/CARRY – 40 lbs. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 15 feet (3 repetitions).
PUSH/PULL – Horizontally transfer 40 lbs. of force on a sled a distance of 25 feet.
CLIMB – Ascend and descend a step with a height of 12 inches from the floor (5 repetitions).
REPETITIVE POSTURE – Forward bending to reach a point 2 inches from the floor (10 repetitions), and squats to reach a point 2 inches from the floor (10 repetitions).
STAND – assume a standing position for 1-2 hours at a time, up to 8-10 hours a day.
INSIDE CLIMATE – requires working in a warehouse that is not climate controlled at all.
