Description: Associate or Full Professor. The Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE) at Princeton University invites applications for tenured appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level with a target starting date September 1, 2024. The search is across the broad areas of Optimization, Statistics, and Machine Learning and their applications to engineering fields. The ORFE department is part of the School of Engineering and Applied Science which is pursuing several initiatives in these areas. To be successful, the candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in research and in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ORFE department believes that the diversity of our faculty, staff, and students, broadly defined, is essential to the distinction and excellence of our research and academic programs.
