Midland Care is growing and in need of a Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Topeka. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and carrying out various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Full-time | Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $21+/hour (pay is based on requirements and like experience)

Requirements

Required: Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance or business. 2 years accounting experience. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Good communication and advanced computer skills required. High degree of proficiency with MS Office products required. Ability to muti-task. Strong teamwork.

Preferred: Experience in governmental reimbursement programs within a health care setting.
