Job description
BluePrint and Origin Engines, a leading company in Kearney, NE, is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Engineer to join our team. We specialize in the development of new products for spark ignition engines, emissions development, and engine management calibration. Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate spark ignition engines for gasoline, natural gas, and propane
- Conduct EPA/CARB certification testing
- Perform mobile, stationary, and on-road engine testing
- Execute high-performance engine testing
- Calibrate engine management systems for new products
- Provide detailed test reporting
Qualifications
- Proficient engine calibration experience
- Experience and knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Experience using AVL or Kistler in-cylinder pressure transducers
- Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data
- Experience with using and maintaining emissions test equipment
- Ability to work hands-on with new product during development process
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently (preferred)
