Job description
We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining actuarial models for life, health, and annuity products. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to advise management on strategic decisions related to product design, pricing, profitability, underwriting, administration, and risk management. Effective communication with various departments is key to ensure project deadlines are met. We encourage continuous progress towards actuarial designations through the Society of Actuaries.
Location: Fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiently utilize actuarial pricing models and execute tasks independently.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance in contract management and annual testing.
- Effectively communicate results to management through verbal or written reports and presentations, adhering to actuarial standards of practice.
- Pursue actuarial designation from the Society of Actuaries.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with Life and/or Annuity products.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of life pricing experience.
- Most candidates have completed the majority of coursework for attaining Associateship (ASA) (5 - 6 exams/online courses).
- Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
