Radiologic Technologist ***$10,000 Sign-On Bonus***
Shift: Days & Nights available (Full Time)
Pay Rate: $25/hr to $35/hr

We are currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist, Level 1, to contribute to our commitment to quality patient care. In this role, you will operate and maintain equipment, capturing radiographs of various body parts to aid radiologists in detecting foreign bodies, diagnosing diseases, and assessing injuries. As a Level 1 Radiologic Technologist, you will provide exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages, ensuring a safe and professional environment. A current Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License is required, and ARRT registry is preferred.
Responsibilities - Maintain basic records and reports, including charge coding, requisitions, and x-ray folder documentation.
- Organize and maintain patient files, including charting and locating records.
- Input relevant information on requisitions, including Radiation Safety details, clinical information, and procedural notes.
- Provide age-appropriate care for patients, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and the general population.
- Select and operate radiography equipment and imaging accessories successfully.
- Position patients to optimize the visualization of the area of interest.
- Determine appropriate radiographic techniques for examinations.
- Evaluate radiographs or images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.
- Inject contrast materials under direct supervision.
- Perform non-interpretative fluoroscopic procedures and adhere to quality control testing.
- Comply with NARMC HIPAA Privacy and Security policies.
- Assist in patient transportation using safe and proper body mechanics.
- Assist physicians during examinations, holding and turning patients, and performing related duties as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with Radiologists, Imaging Services Nurses, and other team members.
Qualifications - Completion of a recognized program in Radiological Science and Technology.
- Must provide a copy of a diploma or official transcript of the highest level of education.
- Must possess an Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License.
- BLS certification required.
- If Registry eligible, the applicant will be required to successfully complete the registry process within one year.
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
- Meet continuing education requirements established by ARRT.
