Job description
VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Wakefield, Massachusetts (Greater Boston).
We are currently a 12 doctor practice, with a world-class support staff (17 CVTs and 24 Vet assistants!) At VCA Wakefield clients and patients are very much woven into the fabric of our practice and standards of care. We are a general practice hospital with a large amount of exotics clients (22%!) that also provides surgical care 7 days a week.
We are in a new facility that was designed to be Fear Free. We have separate lobbies, exam rooms, treatment areas, and holding areas for dogs and cats/exotics. Our brand new 11-room practice offers a dedicated dental suite, dental radiology, digital rads, ultrasound (diagnostic), EMR, Acupuncture, ECG. Our doctors are very diligent in attending the latest CE’s and are always learning to ensure our patients are getting the best standard of care. Our practice has been AAHA certified and continues to make sure that we adhere to those standards.
VCA Wakefield is open 7 days-per-week, Monday through Friday 7:30am - 8:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am - 6pm.
