Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Consultant to join our talented team. The role has 3 components:
- A. Project Manager for the Nimble team of 5 people and associated workstreams,
- B. Management Consultant & Visionary
- C. Design framework for integration of workshop outputs and manage for the team
Responsibilities:
A) Project Manager for Nimble team
- Demonstrated experience working on technology projects with integration components and process-related changes
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and project planning/tracking tools
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of the Nimble team already in place as a preferred vendor with the client project
B) Management Consultant and Visionary
Leverage Facilitation, Visioning and Management Consulting skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Exceptional facilitation experience of large group discussions with client subject matter experts to document pain points “today” and what good looks like (“to be”)
- Project experience moving employees to think “out of the box” and to a “visioning” state
- Deliverables: Ability to quickly generate after 1-2 meetings with the right SMEs:
C) Design framework for integration of workshop outputs
Design how results of 2024 data provider workshops will feed into process workshops
- Nimble to design Series of process workshops 1-2 months after completion of each data provider workshop by another vendor. Delivery to begin thereafter.
- Same process for Series 2 Data workshops.
- GIS Process Lead and client PM to identify process topics after each workshop to:
- Feed into the design of subsequent process workshops
- Incorporate as new or related Epics already in JIRA.

Requirements for the Nimble team
- Available to start work in January 2024 (assuming client contract approved by this time ).
- Must be available full-time during client office hours (Pacific time) typically 9am-5pm , with flexibility as needed.
- Must be flexible to be onsite with the project team given the nature of the work
- Work is 70% remote, 30% onsite at client offices (Oakland, San Ramon- California); on average 6 days per month
- Consultant is: already residing in the bay area or lives in CA (W Coast) and willing to travel to be onsite as required below.

Requirements for this role
- Minimum of 5 years of management consulting experience from a large consultancy (PWC, Accenture, Gartner, PA Consulting etc.) with a focus on project management, process analysis and facilitation
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for improvement, develop innovative solutions and implement
- Support the Nimble team as a project manager and as a management consultant
- Demonstrated project management experience on large-scale transformation efforts
- Demonstrated experience facilitating and documenting process flows and future-state possibilities
