Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing travel management company as a VIP Travel Advisor working remotely. You will be an integral part of the Corporate Operations team, responsible for arranging comprehensive, cost-effective travel that aligns with company policies and utilizes preferred suppliers. This is a dedicated account position.
In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Business Development and report to the Director of Operations. Primary Responsibilities: - Arrange domestic and international travel for designated VIP clients including air, hotel, ground transportation, and rail. Provide high-touch concierge service such as booking upgrades, leisure activities, and personal services. - Stay current on international events using State Department and news sources to advise clients on visa requirements, immunizations, and other relevant information. Handle multi-cultural VIP clientele with sensitivity. - Utilize strong knowledge of international pricing rules and procedures. Leverage internal tools and systems efficiently. - Support assigned accounts with a deep understanding of procedures. Interact with VIP travelers and travel arrangers to provide excellent customer service and troubleshoot issues. - Ensure travel aligns with client policies while using preferred vendors to maximize value. Follow all customer service protocols including etiquette standards. - Adhere to company standards for productivity, accuracy, tools, and attendance. Attend ongoing training and staff meetings. - Maintain positive working relationships across the company. Requirements: - 5+ years experience as a VIP corporate travel consultant required - Ability to create complex domestic and international itineraries - Excellent industry knowledge and customer service skills - Proficiency in one or more GDS/CRS systems - Meet and exceed performance standards - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Basic Microsoft Office skills - Authorization to work in the US without restriction - Willingness to travel to office periodically if remote We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off.
