Newman Architects seeks an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator / Brand Designer to work closely with our marketing and leadership teams as an active part of our New Haven office. Newman Architects is a collaborative design studio working together to shape space and expand possibilities for commercial, education, and community clients through architecture, interior design, lighting design, and branding services.

Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator / Brand Designer position will support Newman’s range of marketing, business development, and public relations efforts, provide brand design services to our clients, and provide graphic assistance to our project teams as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the marketing team, project managers, and firm leadership to develop portfolios, proposals, presentations, and award submissions.
• Design and edit Newman materials, coordinate consultant materials, conduct research, and develop graphics to support the communication of our qualifications, approach, and ideas to potential clients.
• Work with project teams to carry architectural design concepts through to environmental graphics and branding for select clients.
• Organize and maintain our marketing resources including the image library, project sheets, resumes, boilerplate information, etc.
• Maintain our website and social media channels and support development of content.

Undertake special projects related to your skills and interests in marketing and architecture.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Passion for architecture and design
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines and organize information and resources
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Graphic Design, Architecture, or Marketing preferred
• Some experience within an architecture firm preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,) and Microsoft Office Suite
