Description:
- Utilize blueprints to ensure accuracy of each vessel/tank
- Fitting/welding on shell and tube heat exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Tanks
- Use various tools to ensure precision of each nozzle location
- Fit each nozzle into correct location, welder will then follow by welding nozzle in place
- MIG flux-core welding on variety of stainless, carbon, and precious metals
- 045 wire welding

Skills:
- MUST HAVE Experience with boilers, vessels/tanks,pipe fitting or sheet metal fabrication
- Basic math skills such as decimal conversion, addition, subtraction, radius, and diameter
- Welding of fabricated heat exchangers, pressure vessels and tanks
- Experienced in reading blueprints and weld symbol knowledge
- Knowledgeable in ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1 a plus
- Knowledgeable with layout and fabrication of product
- Physical capability for requirements of job. Lifting 50+lbs
- Must be okay with heights. Welding 15ft -20ft in the air at times
Nice to have:
- Previous lead experience
- Code welding certified in past
- AWS certified
- Welding school degree/certs
- Welding on tanks/vessels
- TIG tubing
- Sub-arc (S.A.W.)
