Job Summary

UTSW is seeking an excellent Financial Analyst I with exceptional communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to help successfully lead to the growing Department of the O’Donnell School of Public Health. This role works closely with the Director of Finance, Department Finance Team, Grants and Contracts Team, and Division Operation Administration. Duties include completion of monthly financial management and reviewing of reports for deficits and errors, analyzing variances, and reviewing of budgeting vs actual performance. Additionally, this role is responsible for departmental reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reports, financial models, and ad hoc financial analysis. It requires the ability to review, reconcile and analyze financial data, while collaborating with multiple departments.
