Job description
Position Overview: The Traveling Wind Project Manager will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure successful wind project management. This role will require frequent travel to oversee large-scale wind projects, manage crews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety protocols are in place. The ideal candidate should be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in wind and renewable energies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage a wide variety of wind projects ranging from smaller scale installations to large-scale projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project is delivered on time.
- Develop and maintain project budgets.
- Provide guidance and supervision to project crews.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Frequent travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Experience in wind projects and renewable energy.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Able to travel as needed.
