Purpose & Impact:
As the Vice President of Technology (VPIT), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. Responsible for developing the product roadmap and leading all aspects of our technology department, you will maintain existing systems while providing direction in all technology-related issues. Your leadership will contribute to the execution of our strategic direction, development, and future growth, positioning our service offerings as leaders in the industry.
Location:
This position will be based at our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work-from-home flexibility on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Develop yearly business plans and IT long-range system plans in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Manage all aspects of information technology, including applications development, open systems platforms, networks, operating systems, data security, and communications.
Establish clear priorities and goals for IT management and production in collaboration with the leadership team.
Develop and coordinate administrative functions, including capital and expense budgets, hardware acquisitions, and vendor negotiations.
Monitor information technology performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Build and lead a high-performing IT team.
Oversee IT resource allocation, goal setting, and performance metrics.
Cultivate strong partnerships with internal and external IT stakeholders.
Supervise software testing, information systems security, and maintenance.
Work with technology vendors to ensure business requirements are met with optimal technical solutions.
Develop, implement, and maintain long-range staffing, hardware, operating systems, data networking, and security plans.
Oversee IT business plans, strategic direction, and standards for procedures and policies.
Provide a framework for outsourced technology vendors.
Manage all store-related IT systems.
Oversee software development, uptime, and security of the E-Commerce company site.
Supervise web application and software development, generating new products and facilitating their entry to the market.
Required Experience:
5+ years in a technology senior-level leadership position (S/VP, Director equivalent)
10+ years of extensive IT management experience
Bachelor's degree required; MBA with a specialization in Information Technology Management is a plus
