We are searching for an outstanding Estimator Project Manager to join our team. If you have 2 or more years of experience, a passion for construction, and an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects, then please read on!
What you'll be doing:
- Participate in local new project pursuits in support of Business Development. Projects include; office, medical, and retail build-outs, non-profit, and faith-based projects, and ground-up buildings $5 million and under.
- Prepare estimates using Sage Estimating, and coordinate subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare budgetary and final pricing proposals.
- Negotiate contract agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers responsible for bidding, scope review, and the awarding of subcontracts.
- Participate in the development of schedule and sequencing of work.
- Working along with the project Superintendent, plan, organize, and control all resources (people and materials) for the successful execution of the projects that you are responsible for.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners.
- Manage schedules, change orders, RFIs, and the submittal process using Procore.
- Work with the Project Accountant to initiate and manage the Pay Application process.
- Manage the closeout process.
What you need for this position:
- Detail-oriented mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and construction principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
- Outstanding communicator: able to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and ability to communicate technical building processes with construction and non-construction team members equally.
- Familiarity with various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures, and tolerances.
- Commitment to providing a positive experience for all project stakeholders, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and team members.

- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within our core market projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
