Job description

MICA Corporation is seeking skilled laborers with experience in electrical, traffic signal, and utility labor for highway construction. Work consists of digging trenches to lay pipes to pull wire for illumination poles (single and or double arms light poles; 150 - 200 ft tall poles with circular ring on top), ITS, and Roadway Signs (large overhead and or small roadway).

MICA Corporation is seeking to fill 15 spots and has work for the next couple of years. Work location will consists of two projects in the Austin area - North and South locations. Zip code 78752

Required skills and abilities:

• Must be local to Austin area or surrounding.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience operating basic construction equipment.
• Hold and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check with minimal infractions.
• Must be Willing and able to pass a physical examination.
• Willing and able to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
• Must be able to travel and work overtime, weekends and nights as needed.
