Scope of Work:
The candidate for this role will implement Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments of The Program Executive Office for Digital and Enterprise Services (PEO Digital) the Department of the Navy s enterprise-wide information technology acquisition agent. PEO Digital.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with:
- Implementing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and coaching at multiple levels of an organization
- Providing coaching and training on Agile methodology and frameworks, including Scrum, Lean, and Kanban, as well as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Participating as a member of a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) as an Agile Coach
- Value Stream Mapping and building value streams
- Standing up and coaching agile projects at the Team level
- Standing up and coaching Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Creating, updating, and maintaining backlogs at team and portfolio levels
- Establishing business rules and best practices for managing Kanban boards
- Understanding and facilitating Agile ceremonies (Stand-up, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospectives)
- Coaching and training various Scrum and SAFe roles, including Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Product Management, and Business Owners
- Using the ServiceNow platform, specifically the SAFe Application
- Serving as the liaison between the customer, associated business units, technology teams and project teams
- Evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to engage in multiple projects / efforts simultaneously
Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelors degree: Preferably a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant technical area
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM ) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certified preferred
- Three (3) to Four (4) years experience supporting technical projects
- Experience serving government clients
- Experience in working with a remote team and conducting presentations that are hosted and facilitated in virtual settings
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment; excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a self-guided manner; excellent organizational skills
- Strong Knowledge of ServiceNow SAFe Application
