***100% onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA*** This is lab based role, no opportunity for working remotely. Engagement worker will be in the lab 40 hours a week.


Bachelors' degree is required & 5 YOE is highly preferred, but no less than 1 year please.


*** is hiring a Senior Associate Scientist to join the Clinical Immunology group. This is a laboratory position within the Clinical Immunology group performing routine cell-based assays to assess the immunogenic risk of early candidate molecules.

Key
Responsibilities:

Execution of high-throughput cell-based assays using primary immune cells isolated from PBMC. Follow established protocols and aid in assay optimization. Operation of liquid handling systems (Hamilton vantage and High Res Prime) to carry out high-throughput flow cytometry staining. Document experiments in the electronic lab notebook. Carry-out data analysis and communicate data to key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Immunology or related discipline
Master's degree and 1-2 years of scientific experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of scientific experience


Preferred Qualifications


BS degree with experience in immunology research, specifically T cell immunology
Cell culture experience with primary cells (PBMCs) with knowledge of specific immune cell type isolations using MACS (monocytes, CD4+ T cells)
Experience performing ELISA and ELISPOT
Familiar with automating cell-based assays
Detailed knowledge of multi-color flow cytometry operation and data analysis, including experience performing intracellular cytokine staining
Presents scientific/technical information within the group and across functions.
