Histotechnologist
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Histologist for a direct hire position at a cutting-edge biotech company in San Diego, CA. If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.
Pay Rate:
$28-38/hour
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm
Responsibilities:
Produce high quality microtomy and H&E staining.
Prepare microscopic slides for research/diagnostic purposes using human tissue.
Cut, embed, and mount paraffin processed tissue.
Specimen accessioning.
Prep slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists following established SOPs.
Perform sample capture.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Science or related field
HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) certification strongly preferred
Experience with histology, must be able to demonstrate histology techniques
