Job Description
The Global Marketing team is looking to add a talented and experienced Database Developer to our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the business by designing, implementing, and managing the marketing databases that are integrated within our broader enterprise data ecosystem. This role requires not only strong technical skills, but also the ability to understand business needs and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. The Senior Database Developer will be the linchpin ensuring smooth data operations, data quality, and sophisticated data modelling, as well as playing a key role in monitoring and troubleshooting our data warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy data flow and collection of data for cross-functional teams
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements on data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Recommend data pipeline architecture following the Data Reference Architecture, ensuring that the optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects
- Develop data processes for data modelling, mining, and production discovering opportunities for data acquisition
- Act as central liaison for team, facilitating communication and collaboration between various teams including software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists to identify data initiatives.
- Architect, build and launch new data models
-Issues management, monitoring and health checks reporting across the snowflake dedicated account to address communication within the business in a proactive manner
-Developing and maintaining data environments for marketing data scientists & analysts in order to address business insights and reporting requirements.
