Job description
Job Purpose:
The Department's OIT is seeking the services of experienced Systems Administrator. The Candidates will be required to successfully complete tasks in relation to the Scope of Work.
Primary Job Duties/Tasks:
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identifies, prioritizes, resolves, and documents technical operational issues related to the enterprise server and active directory environments.
Maintain operating systems lifecycle of enterprise servers.
Identifies, documents, and implements enhancements and automation to the AD domain.
Manage OUs into a logical hierarchical grouping for effective group policies.
Review and make recommendations for AD process improvements.
Review and make recommendations for Group Policy improvements.
Review and make recommendations on cloud readiness of enterprise systems.
Provide knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed.
Provide status reporting of assignments.
Ensure the availability and continuity of the Windows servers and domain.
Follow all Department, ISP, and team-defined standards and procedures.
Complete all required policy training and acknowledgement courses.
Performs other related duties, as required.
About the Candidate:
Qualifications
1. bachelor s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other related field or equivalent work experience of one (1) year of system experience for each year of education; or one (1) year of data management experience for each year of education.
Required Experience
1. 7 of experience with Microsoft server administration
2. 5 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory
3. 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
4. 3 years of experience in creating and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPO)
5. 5 years of experience Administering SCCM
6. 5 years of experience in Cloud migrations
7. 5 years of experience in DevOps
8. Experience in PowerShell scripting with Task sequencing
9. Knowledge of Adaxes active directory management tool
10. Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing.
11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
12. Proficiency in using Visual Studio for development, debugging, and testing. Understanding of GitHub Enterprise or similar tools for version control, project management, and build/release automation.
13. Experience in setting up and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Azure applications.
Preferred Qualifications
The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
1. Expertise in C#/.NET Core/.NET Framework/Visual Studio, along with experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines
2. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook administration
3. Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare systems
4. Experience with LDAP and Domain Controllers
5. Experience in modifying Active Directory Schemas for customization and extension.
6. Experience in SAP
7. Knowledge of general networking infrastructure technologies
8. Knowledge of managing distributed network topologies with SCCM
9. Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), NIST-800 and FIPS-200

11. Knowledge of environmental isolation and promotion
12. Excellent troubleshooting skills
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
14. Detail-oriented, ability to switch tasks, ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks.

findings/recommendations clearly and effectively
16. Knowledge of MS Office Suite
