Position Summary:

• Participates as a member of the health care team by providing clerical receptionist charge entry and telemetry monitoring duties as required. 
• This position is represented by SEIU Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous clerical experience in acute care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CT CPRBLS = CT-AHA-Basic Life Support-Natl
• Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (including Gmail and Google Sheets)
• Prior successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course. 
• Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia assessment test (during interview process) prior to offer of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Monitor Tech/Unit Secretary in an acute care setting.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Able to assist patients and staff with notary services.
• Current valid certification as a notary public is strongly preferred. Notary public certification w/b provided if the incumbent is willing to accept the additional duties.
